One of the reasons I hate being a little nothing cog in an uncaring machine is that I cant be an inspiration to anyone. That I cant make someones life brighter just by saying hello. I think, for all the dreams of fame and monetary success and adoration that so many performers and athletes have, there is a part in everyone that wants to be that hero. Why Chris Pratt stole his outfit from the set of Guardians of the Galaxy in the hope that the movie will make it big and he can go to hospitals dressed up as StarLord. There are the true heroes in the world, the ones who risk their lives in combat, or that run into burning buildings or risk disease to cure others. Then there are the pretend heroes who still inspire. This is why members of the 501st go to hospitals or Make a Wish. This is why the SCA held a knighting ceremony for a dying boy. So that we can make one persons life brighter by simply being something worth inspiration. This story shows how beautiful people can be.
