One of the reasons we are so passionate about sharing stories through the What’s Underneath Project is to make us all feel more connected in our struggles and journeys towards self-love. If we just look at the facade of someone’s image or street style photos, we may idealize their life and not see that we actually have a lot in common with them. If we can share our truths without a filter and be real with one another, we can feel less alone in this world and know that a lot of what we go through is universal. This is why we want to take What’s Underneath to the next level, traveling outside of NYC and inviting YOU to share your stories in our documentary film.
