One of the reasons why the RBI did not go in for a repo rate cut is to stop the flight of the USD from India, and to stem the fall of INR; but then then the FIIs are going in for a SELL in the equity market. So, what is the use.....? The RBI polices are not working----it is now a junk body. Even after so many months it is not able to bring down the PLR below 10%. What a shame....looking at the US. The new economist Mr.Patel is all the same---though I thought he would be a new ray of hope.
