One of the senior sports analysts in Uganda said that he would be happy but very very shocked and surprised if the Uganda Cranes did qualify for the AFCON 2015, indeed we lost out again. Uganda did not loose because of tactical reasons but rather lack of patriotism from the players, they are only interested in getting bonuses and helping other nations to qualify simply for money reasons. The Cranes Captain should be investigated for such a display that not even a high school defender can make such mistakes. Why should an experienced captain make a two footed tackle on the edge of the box? Why did he bring the player down in the box yet he was totally ahead and in full control of the ball? Believe me or not but this guy just gave the game away. Even at 0-0, the so called skipper was already arguing with the referee and making stupid fouls to invite for a red card.He has apologized but the apology is not granted because the captain was HAPPIEST with the result. He should be embarrassed and retire from the national team because the cranes have now become Specialists In Failure. As long as these players are still earning 200,000/= per month, Uganda will NEVER qualify for the AFCON. They say that Patience pays but even a parent cannot continue paying for his or her child to repeat the same class for 30 or more years. The Government should use the money to support other sport like athletics, rugby, boxing than waste it on Failures. Many people in Uganda have smart phones but i was surprised to see the so called FUFA president smiling and spent most of the time on the phone as if he was excited with the outcome of the match.International and National football organizations are led by well to do people with a stable financial background but Magogo does not qualify.
