One of the side-effects of going vegan was discovering that not only do we subject our fellow Earthlings to unrelenting abuse and cruelty, including death...simply because we can...we also tell ourselves we know about them when in fact we are profoundly ignorant and ill-informed. For those who do not know...rats laugh when they are tickled (watch the brief video). Becoming vegan means changing your behavior and also informing yourself about the wondrous beings who live on this planet with you. Discovering that rats laugh when tickled is a step in that direction.
