One of the things I hate most about publishing and writing is the fact that if you speak your mind - particularly in any negative way - you are pig-piled instantly, or said to be dieting on sour grapes. If you like, or dont like another writers work, you have to be really careful what you say. Writers worry all the time what they say about publishers who might publish them, other authors who might help their careers, or hurt them, bleah. Readers have a much better deal - they can review honestly and not have to worry about whether people see hidden motivation in their words. I try to say what I think...or to keep it to myself if there is no gain to anyone. Sometimes I cant help myself. In the past, its caused problems.
