One of the things I love about creating and playing music is all of the different types of interfaces that people come up with. Even among electronic synthesizers and musical instruments, this one stands out. Its like playing with blocks on the surface of a table, but the table reacts as you move the blocks around, twist them, flip them, etc. Its called a Reactable. I was playing with one a few weeks ago on a visit to the Tech Museum in San Jose. I believe its on the second floor. And in case you dont have the space for one of those tables, theres an iOS app by the same name.
