One of the things I miss most about Emilys old school is my involvement in her classrooms. I loved spending time with the incredible students and teachers. It was always a highlight of my week! So when my dear friend Kathy asked me to come over and hang out with her totally amazing kids yesterday I jumped at the chance to do some parent-class involvement projects! Because these cool kids homeschool also, I pretty much overheard the best conversations ever! We tie dyed pillow cases, went on a nature scavenger hunt and then created our own letter masterpieces inspired by nature. I had the best day. I dont know what Kathy has done (although I actually do...shes amazing) but her kids are so great. They are such deep thinkers, so kind and helpful, they are genuine and oh so funny! I am so happy they are in our lives!
