One of the things I wanted the most before I was able to quit my job August of 2013, was to be able to take my daughter to school, pick her up, and be there to help her with her homework... Her kindergarten year was not a very easy one, to be completely honest. I was working full time 40+ hours a week, rushing every morning to take her to school and Id still be at work when she got off so I couldnt do her homework with her, someone else had to do it. Earlier that summer, I had been working to build a health/wellness company, and I remember promising her that I would figure it out in time to leave my job and be able to stay at home with her and wed experience her first year in school together. But it didnt happen. Having to explain to her that I had to still go to my job and that I didnt know when Id be able to quit was so hard for me, I felt like I let her down. But it was also very motivating and drove me to keep grinding to find a way out. For all the working mothers out there, who dont want to be away from home, dont ever give up on your dream of providing the best life possible for your children.
