One of the things I will miss about the mainland - the prices and choices. Competitive gas sales for $3.23 - $3.60 a gallon, 55 and 60 inch flatscreens for $460, that $11 basket of strawberries we see here for $2.19, that tiny $7.00 basket of blackberries for $1.70, dress shirts for $9.00, real fresh milk for $2.50, Western Family and other cost-saving brands - at actual cost-saving prices (a Western Family diet cola sells for half the price as a Diet Coke, not the same price), steaks that are $2.50 a piece instead of $12.00 a piece, and the vast array of fruits and cheeses and breads and deli meats.
