One of the things we love about our Market is that when you - TopicsExpress

One of the things we love about our Market is that when you purchase something from one of our vendors, you are buying directly from the grower or artisan. Wed like to give you the opportunity to learn more about our wonderful vendors and the variety of products you can find at the Market, so over the course of the next few months, we will be spotlighting two to three vendors each week. Delvin Farms is a third-generation family farm located in College Grove, TN. Hank, Sr. and Cindy Delvin, along with their three children, began farming in 1972. Their produce was originally sold through distribution centers. In 1997, they began the process of turning the farm into a certified organic operation. The farm was certified organic in 1998, and in 1999, they began their CSA program. Throughout the season, you can enjoy over 80 varieties of heirloom and traditional vegetables from their farm. Visit them at booths 59-60 to make a purchase and to find out more about their CSA program. And if you have questions about how something is grown or would like suggestions about how to prepare your vegetables, please ask! They are always happy to help out. Darn Good Salsa is just that....darn good! Whenever Kim Barrow was going to a party or an event, she was always asked to bring her salsa. Encouraged by her friends who told her she should sell it, Kim and her husband, David, started selling the salsa at farmers markets in Central Illinois. They brought the recipe along with them when they moved to Nashville, and now we are thrilled to have them as a vendor at our market. Kim uses the best quality, ingredients to make her salsa. Its made in small batches to ensure consistency of flavor and heat levels. She doesnt use any preservatives, so its best to eat within three weeks of purchasing. We know that you wont have anything to worry about because it will be long gone before three weeks time! Her salsa comes in three heat levels - mild, medium, and hot. Stop by booth #45 to try a sample. We know you will agree that it is darn good! Noble Springs Dairy is a Grade A goat dairy and artisanal goat cheese-making operation that was licensed in 2009. The farm is located outside of Franklin, TN and is run by Dustin and Justyne Noble. They have worked hard to restore the farm that has supported family farming since the seventeenth century. Every drop of milk that goes into their products is derived from the natural forages the goats enjoy on the farm. Among the products they offer are a variety of chevres - from sweet to savory, feta, and gouda cheeses. Stop by booth 64 for a sample, and be sure to ask if they have any pimiento cheese to try. Youll be glad you did! They also love to share their passion for the farm, so ask about a tour and their first-ever Farm Fest, which will be held later this month. We look forward to seeing you at our Market!
