One of the things which personally frustrates me about the online theonomists is when they dismiss anyone who disagrees that the judicial law is applicable today as dispensationalists. This is a historically ignorant accusation. It ignores the historic threefold division of the law in which the judicial laws written by Moses were positive, not natural, laws. Only the moral or natural law is eternally binding. The judicial laws were applications of the moral law *within* the Mosaic covenant context of Israel. How can the positive law which was written for one historic covenant also be assumed to apply to a totally different covenant, which is known as the New Covenant? Only the moral law transcends all covenants. This is anything but dispensationalism! --CJE
