One of the thoughts that have struck me repeatedly recently is the one that there is no actual up or down anywhere on our planet in terms of looking at the sky. We look outwards, not just up towards the sky, towards the stars & the cosmos as we drift along in space, held by gravity to the surface of our big blue-white-and-brown marble of a planet. Making that small adjustment somehow changes things; opens up a different feel, doesnt it?
