One of the tricks that has helped me stay on track? I use the is it worth it strategy. Like Ive said a million times, I dont deprive myself of anything. But I also dont aimlessly eat and ruin the hard work Ive done. For example. Yesterday we went out to lunch. My meal came with French fries and there wasnt really a good option to switch it. I took a bite of my fries and they just werent worth it to me (cold, undercooked). I put my fries on another plate and pushed it to the side. Those little choices to not randomly stuff your mouth with something you dont *really* want add up. Promise. Give it a shot today. What things are just not that worth it to you that you are willing to part with? The kids leftovers? That handful of goldfish? The extra glass of wine?
