One of the very best things about owning Peeves Pub has been sharing this project (of love) with you, as weve learned, grown and changed. Many of you have been with us as we did construction, ran a kickstarter, changed hours, and celebrated our first anniversary in September. The next step in our evolution has been to incorporate a more normal menu, that will change monthly, instead of daily. We are just as committed to local, seasonal food, made from scratch. But we also need to bring a little continuity into our kitchen, add a few more items for our customers to choose from and to offer food throughout the day. So, we are going to try to do our best to find a balance between creativity and consistency. We will always keep our commitment to local, fresh and seasonal. For example, well keep an item like the veggie pizza on all month, but the veggies on top of the pizza will continue to change as fast as local produce ripens and changes. So let me summarize the changes: the overall menu will change monthly, we will be serving food throughout the day from 11:30am to 9:00pm, we have appetizers every day and we will have more entrees to choose from. Some items will still change more often, like our soup of the day. The veggies will change to accommodate the best possible local produce, and well have some specials to spice things up throughout the month. Id like to offer special thanks to Sharon Alexander, our friend and Mentor Chef, who has guided us throughout this change. Id also like to thank our kitchen crew, led by our wonderful Executive Chef Bessy Acosta and our incredible General Manager Angela Johnson, for their hard work, talent and flexibility throughout this change.
