One of the young Afghan parliamentarian expressed his views about the reservations of our neighbors in regards to Afghanistans sovereign legitimate right to freely initiate its domestic and foreign policy. He asked the regional powers that they have been ignoring Afghanistans legitimate concerns for a long time and they never consulted afghanistan so how come they expect Afghanistan to tolerate their interference in Afghanistan? He said that, did Iran consulted Afghanistan over its nuclear programs that could be a threat to Afghanistan and region? He said they never did it so than how come they are telling Afghans to avoid dealing with this country or that country because it pose a threat for Iran and he said the same about Pakistani intermingle and disregard for Afghanistans concern about Pakistan being becoming a hub of intl terrorism that has been impacting Afghanistan for a long time. He said than why are they demanding of Afghanistan to do what pleases Pakistan. His advise to Afghan parliamentarians was that they should solely focus on what is best for Afghans and its interests than what Iran, Pakistan, China, and India or the U.S. and others want in Afghanistan.
