One of two VIP matters to be brought forward at Mondays 7:30pm TRH Council meeting: Agenda Item 5: Staff will be presenting a report from Corporate and Financial Services / Financial Services Division, SRCFS.13.065, regarding what has been very clearly laid out in this report as an egregious breach of Town and Council Financial Policy and Procedure by Ward 2 Councillor Carmine Perrelli. The breach relates to this Councillor’s detailed inability to appropriately respond to major concerns of Staff very clearly and legitimately brought to his attention, as well as the production and town-wide mailing of his “survey”, which has, as detailed in this report, illegitimately cost the public purse $10, 695.95, the details of which can be found here: The details in this Financial Staff Report are a revelation and I commend the timely action of our Town Staff in bringing this matter to the attention of Council, thus placing this issue in the full glare of the public spotlight. These matters (see Agenda Item 6 posted below) demand our residents’ undivided attention and I urge you to come out in force on Monday night to TRH Council Chambers, 1st Floor, 225 East Beaver Creek Road, RH, to bear witness to the presentation of both these reports and to participate and listen to any related discussion and debate which will follow from the public and Council Bench, in this regard.
