One other thing about my visit to Target today -- as annoyed as I may be about seeing Christmas stuff everywhere already, I want to give Target a lot of credit for one thing. The banners over the greeting card section very specifically say MERRY CHRISTMAS. Not Xmas. Not the generic and increasingly annoyingly politically-correct Happy Holidays. They say MERRY - CHRISTMAS! And thats as it should be. And these days (unfortunately), that takes a lot of guts on Targets part to do that. I was pleased to see it. Its STILL too early, but I was pleased to see it.
