One person has message us this: My class fellow and a very good friend, Syed Muhammad Taqi Rizvi, age 25, was recently diagnosed with a third recurrence of mediastinal seminoma over the past five years. His first two rounds of treatment were administered at Shaukat Khanam here in Pakistan, but the recommended treatment for this recurrence is not available at Shaukat Khanam, or anywhere else in Pakistan. Taqi holds no health insurance, and his mother is recently recovering from a liver transplant for which they paid out of pocket. We have begun raising funds to transport him to the United States for treatment, but have only about 50% of the $257,000 USD that is needed to get him his entire treatment at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, America. I am writing to you today to humbly ask whether you might be able to provide any aid- financial or otherwise- to Taqi and his family.
