One person was injured Thursday afternoon when this tractor-trailer rig swerved off the westbound lane of the Ohio Turnpike. The vehicle slid into the median and down an embankment, then wedged itself between the overpasses on County Road 15, east of Holiday City. Ron Leppelmeier, with Hutch’s towing, is pictured as he plans for the best way to remove the vehicle while he waits for an additional tow truck. The Montpelier Fire Department responded to the scene at 1:30 p.m. with Williams County EMS, sheriff’s deputies and the Ohio State Highway Patrol. Additional information about the crash was not immediately available from the Patrol.
