One postdoctoral position and 1 - 2 graduate student ones in particle physics phenomenology now are available for applications to our group at Lund University. The postdoctoral position admin.lu.se/o.o.i.s?id=22598&Dnr=570521&Type=E is announced as part of the EU-funded Marie Curie network MCnetITN (montecarlonet.org). The applicant should have experience in theoretical or experimental particle physics corresponding to that of a PhD student in the final year of studies, and should have experience in the use or development of event generators. More detailed rules on eligibility can be found in the announcement. The main part of the research will be related to the development of event generators, in particular Pythia 8. Of the PhD studentships admin.lu.se/o.o.i.s?id=22598&Dnr=568448&Type=E one is intended for QCD studies and parton-shower development, while an optional second would target studies of physics beyond the Standard Model. The Lund phenomenology group currently consists of six staff members (J. Bijnens, L. Lönnblad, R. Pasechnik, J. Rathsman, M. Sjödahl and T.
