One rider asked about RTR problems. I thought to post the answer for everyones benefit who rides a bike and specially RTR. RTR Braking, Stability and Vibration issues. There r 2 factors: 1. SATBILITY 2. VIBRATION Vibration is what the RTR was born with, nothing much can be done about it. It can be reduced by a significant amount but at the cost of crisp throttle response and a bit of mileage. I used Motul 5100 15W50, yes 1 grade thicker engine oil and it really helped. I read in blogs where people mentioned a good branded FFE can reduce the vibes to a minimal level. About stability, yes it is an issue but more due to our fault. The RTR suspension is already stiff and over that the tyres have bad grip due to the hard compound it is made with. They r so long lasting that many a times it overlasts the rider itself. I have seen many riders putting too much air in the tyres and thats the main cause of the instability at higher speeds and bad braking and many many RTR accidents. The optimum tyre pressure for the RTR for both performance, mileage ,grip and braking is 25 PSI front and 32PSI at the rear tyres respectively. Trust me, the bike will be much more stable. The best thing that can be done is to change the tyres and buy better MRF tyres. 120/80 can be used at th rear without much side effects. The new Remgra tyres have better feedback from users but i still cant trust TVS tyres. People do not realise this fact that how much a tyre has an effect on braking and more importantly accidents during braking. If the tyres do not have good grip than the brakes will not be much effective, be it drum or disk brakes. This is topic riders just shrug off as if it is all fine even without a tyre. At the end of the day a good pair of Tyres not only can save you from minor injuries and scratches but it can prove to be LIFE SAVING. SPEND IN GOOD TYRES, it can Save Your LIFE (bi-iznillaah)
