One show that i often watch on TV is Canadian Pickers. I like to watch it for the stuff they run into, im a lover of old things and a bit of a picker myself. However, it struck me today quite bluntly what smarmy self absorbed pricks those two fellas are. Here they were acting like there was something wrong with this guy who was asking market value for his items, they think there is something wrong with people wanting to turn a profit and then they turn around and do a 75% mark up on the stuff they buy. Basically they go around trying to lowball collectors and exploit the unknowledgeable, beyond that they just seem like a couple of real pricks. They make really stupid jokes and just act like their the be all end all of antiques in Canada. I really dont like them. The American pickers seem like much nicer guys.
