One sleep to go before we leave officially launch LR4L Yippeee!!! Wow what a day weve had. Im sitting here in the balmy silence listening to the horse bells with a nice cup of tea after an incredible 24 hours. Weve had a great media response from newspapers, radio and even Chrissie Arthur, ABC TV. That footage will be on Queensland news tomorrow night. Weve had a street parade through Longreach with us ending up being the the local tourist attraction...well Lachie Cosser riding his huge bullock that wears a hat might have helped. No photos of that Im afraid as we were concentrating on the horses. They behaved exceptionally well, considering that 6 days ago they had only known remote bush life. The day finished off with community fundraiser hosted by the Longreach Rotary, Stockmans Hall of Fame, and the Cattlemans Bar and Grill. So a big thank you to all those involved with organising that for us. We were assisted in explaining about LR4L by journalist Sally Cripps, Queensland Country Life who did a Q&A for the evening.
