One star, then two immediately caught Teds attention. The longer he looked, the bigger they grew. As they increased in size, the noise became much louder. Ted had to cover his ears! Ted followed the trail of fiery smoke billowing from the stars. They were not shooting stars at all, thought Ted, they were meteorites! Ted began to jump up and down with excitement as he looked for a suitable shelter. He needed to protect himself, although suitably dressed, from the almighty explosions of the crashing meteorites; then he remembered he was in the middle of the farmers field.
