One supporter of the citizens of Calgary for many years is the Salvation Army. Their stores are still around and need your help. We all can donate clothes and household items. Maybe think about donating a few dollars. The Salvation Army is one of the best organizations for supporting people in hard times. The employees are mostly hard working volunteers. This charity has the highest percentage of donation money that will go back into their business and not to the corporate office and management. Please help out especially before the winter season. The man or woman at the mall during the Christmas Season is a volunteer and donates many hours ringing that bell. Say hi and drop a couple of loonies in the can. You can like but a donation is more important.
