One thing I hope to NEVER do is to fail as a parent. I have my way of parenting and it works. Gabe and I were discussing some things today and I feel more than proud of the young man I am raising, for the most part he makes good choices. He gets his butt up and goes to school like he is supposed to, he makes passing grades (sometimes barely but he gets it done) ... he helps me so so much with all the younger brothers, and he still gives me big ole hugs and tells me he loves me, even if weve went a round or two. I threw a few observations I have seen lately in general and he was just as appalled as I was. I am so glad I am not a shitty parent. :)
