One thing I predict right now: Because of the continued repetition of Microsoft as a "devices and services" company, I expect that one of the first things the next CEO will do will be to spin off or sell the Bing network (including MSN). Since Yahoo! is flying high currently (they regained the "most visited site" title from Google last month) it seems likely that they may want to roll both Bing Search and the MSN properties into their holdings. It may also be that Balmer does this before he leaves.
