One thing Ive always noticed of my Palestinian brothers are their jovial nature with their ever smiling faces. Especially when it comes to telling jokes. Many who have Palestinian friends would agree to this. I guess its a way of hiding their pain and sorrow losing family members and friends. Theyve felt, witnessed and heard so much destruction around them. One of my brother who just lost two of his relatives yesterday shared this local Gazan joke with me just a moment ago: Netanyahu: Hamas will pay high cost for what had happened. Hamas spokesperson: We cant pay. And if we had money, we would have already paid our employees. Oh Allah, I beg you to put wonderful smiles on my fellow Palestinian brothers and sisters and assist them in this hardship.
