One thing that British Endurance riders are good at is producing and consistently campaigning one horse. Last year the FEI Open Combination World Endurance Ranking was won by Linda Cowperthwaite and Maraday Mysteron. This year Georgina Hirst and Pesniia are moving up the Rankings. After their impressive 15th place at the Young Horse World Endurance Championships in Italy last month, Georgina and ‘Nia’ have risen to 7th place in the World. Pesniia is a 7 year old purebred Arab mare with a promising future ahead of her. She was bred by experienced Endurance rider, Janet Turner, out of Silver Shareen by the Tersk bred Pogojii, who had several wins on the racetrack. Well done Georgina.
