One thing that I forgot to mention about chemo today. I LOVE the way all us women just talk -- and we talk about EVERYTHING. LOLOL Keep in mind that there are also a couple of men getting infusions as well and ALL of the men were quiet as little church mice. Nary a word was uttered from any of their lips. Of course, they may have been tuned in to us women talking bluntly, openly, honestly and funny at times about how we found our cancer, where it was, how it felt, how the reconstruction (if chosen) was done and what IT felt like. And I LOVED the lady that had a 3D tattoo artist tattoo the nipples back on her breast. The staff is totally awesome at Baptist Downtown and I love those girls. It just dawned on me that maybe the men, being men and being so quiet, were probably hoping that one of us would whip out our girls and compare lumps, scars, and tattoos. Men! LOLOLOLOL God has blessed this journey with a lot of love and a whole load of humor and I thank Him for that. Sure, Ive had my pity party moments where fear threatens to try to take hold but I already know the end of the story - I have nothing to fear. As any loving Father would do for His child, He has seen to making all of my needs to be met....all of them. Social Security Disability may take a while to get, but He WILL provide a way. Our Father has this in His control and IS using it for His glory. Im already a survivor and I have Dragon Slayer Warrior stories to share.... And I KNOW that I have family in our Heavenly Home who are cheering for me. God sent me home to KY to be with my beloved cousin, Brenda last year for a reason and I know that Brenda, Aunt Verna Mae, Aunt Aileen, Aunt Phyliss, Aunt Virginia, Aunt Bertha, Grandma and Grandpa Estep and Grandma and Grandpa Harris and a whole truck load of uncles, aunts and cousins that have joined up with the ladies to cheer. But one thing that is for certain: I KNOW that Mommie and Daddy are leading that cheer. He has promised to bless me with a future filled with hope. (Jer. 29:11) I can do ALL things through Christ who gives me strength. (Phil. 4:13) How can you NOT sprinkle your sparkle KNOWING all of this????
