One thing that I learned from my time in politics is that there is a significant portion of the population who subscribe to philosophical modalities that anticipate and embrace doom and gloom. This phenomenon exists more often than not in cultish circles, but we can see some of it in libertarian and evangelical circles too. There is a small portion of the population who have succumbed to their own narrow bias that the world they see around them is a very real living hell for them. These people want the world to burn. Dont be one them. Life is pretty awesome. Dont write off your own dreams.
