One thing that always makes me cry, no matter how ignorant and distant I become with my religion is this: When the Prophet of Allah (SAW) passed, Bilal Radiallahuanh refused to call the Adhaan because he could not complete it for the pain of remembering the times when he shared the company with his Rasool was too great. One time, the people begged him to call the prayer; they pushed him and pushed him until finally he came to call the prayer. The whole city erupted in tears because the Adhaan which had blessed their ears had reminded them of their company with the Prophet. The Prophet of Allah (SAW) shared such a relationship with everyone that you would think he was your best friend and guardian and because of this just reminding the Sahaba of his passing was enough to make the entire city erupt with tears. And isnt it astonishing that it is enough just to remind the people of his passing to make grown men cry 1400 years later? Please share for the love of the Prophet pbuh.
