One thing that has always bothered me about Stanley Kubricks adaptation of The Shining - much as I love it - is the jump scare shot with Jack stuck in the snow. Given everything that has happened before it, I just find it to be too (unintentionally, Im sure) comical. Its a bit like a scene from that Looney Tunes cartoon where Bugs Bunny matches wits with a bull and hammers its horns to a board. Might just be me.
