One thing that is constant in every believers life is the struggle between pleasures the world can give you versus the peace and joy that only God can give you. I have certain temptations that i struggle with pretty much all of the time... some times I fall flat on my face when I get tempted, but other times I will be reminded that no matter what kind of happiness i can get from someone else or something else, if its something that Im not supposed to be doing, the good feelings are only temporary and will always end with pain. I hope this year, when it comes down to it, that I will always choose what is right, knowing that as long as the way that Im living my life is in line with what God has planned for me that I will always be content, and I will always be at peace.. and in that there is happiness and joy. I wish this year instead of Christians judging each other on every failure, that we would evolve enough to realize that we are in a spiritual warfare and we should pray for each other for God to give us the desire to want to live for him more than we want to live for ourselves... Wonder how much better this world would be if we all prayed for each other, rooted each other on, encouraged each other and pulled each other back up.. Just a thought for 2015
