One thing to keep in mind when choosing a candidate: With 203 - TopicsExpress

One thing to keep in mind when choosing a candidate: With 203 members in the PA House of Representatives, your Rep. accounts for less than 1/2 of 1% of the voice of that chamber. Account for the Senate, and thats reduced to less than 1/4 of 1% of the legislature. Throw in the Governors veto power, and well... you see where this is going. No legislator can do anything on their own. It requires an ability to form respectful working relationships with colleagues of all political stripes. And that requires focusing on commonalities, not harping on extremist ideology. While traveling around the state on behalf of PACleanSweep, I learned how to do that. It was a fundamental key to our success. I have maintained many of those relationships and made others since that time - some of them with the very people I was massively critical of during the pay raise fiasco. When you start viewing your political opponents as human beings, rather than potential targets of criticism at every turn, you can accomplish some amazing things. When elected, I will serve the people of the 102nd District by fostering relationships with my colleagues, focusing on what we have in common, and striving to make your values count for more than just 1/2 of 1%.
