One time, when I was little, our family hit hard times and we didnt have money for groceries. On the day we ran out of food, a couple from Main Street Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, Mississippi drove up to the house. We didnt know the couple, and we didnt go to Main Street Baptist (in fact, we werent even Baptists). They popped the trunk and began unloading bag after bag of groceries. Im pretty sure it was summertime, but it felt like Christmas, especially when I realized they had gotten us Fruit Loops. And after they finished delivering the groceries, they left, and we ate. I dont know how they found out that we were in need, and in retrospect, I dont care. We needed some food, and Im just thankful that someone listened when the Lord nudged them to come through for us. It makes me want to ask the Lord: who is hungry, who is lonely, who is praying for relief today - how can You use me to be the answer to someones prayer?
