One of QFIs Arabic teachers, Aida Rached, from Military and Global Leadership Academy at Marie G. Davis in Charlotte, North Carolina, used her teacher initiative grant to purchase folklore clothes and Middle Eastern musical instruments, which her students used to perform in an international festival. In addition, Aida took her students to an Middle Eastern restaurant, where they listened to a presentation about Middle Eastern culture and cuisine from a native Arabic speaker.
