One way to live love is to refuse to compromise, to refuse to accept the worlds standard as godly morality, because it is not. The Bible speaks of the standard of morality and when professing believers alter the Bible in order to fit in, be politically correct, or continue sinful habits and rebellions, they are defiant in the face of a loving and patient and just God. If we truly love those we profess to love, our hearts would burn with the passion to love them in word and deed and to allow Christ full access to our own messy lives in order to show them that change and life different from the compromises of man is possible. Our God is greater, our God is stronger, with Christ all things are possible. There is no bondage, no temptation, no sin that can keep a child of the most high God trapped. Loving others is to show them that freedom is possible and that the wages of unrepented sin is death.
