One week before the first ever 5K North Bend July Jubilee Jaunt----Sign up at the NB Visitors Center or at the event----Race is at 9:00 A.M. --Registration begins at 8:00 A.M. on the North Bend Boardwalk... Saturday, July 19-- Beautiful 3.1 mile course, beautiful shirt, beautiful people with whom to run or walk, beautiful weather (promised) and a beautiful way to celebrate North Bend on its 111th Birthday.. Come join the Jubilee Princesses who will arrive on a ceremonial Ko Kwell canoe paddled by none-other than Chief Tom Younker... Alli West will sing the Star Spangled Banner and the NBFD will set off the race..Music, Iced water, ice cream and Myrtlewood (Only found on the South Coast and the Holy Land) Awards for winners of each age division in each gender will be available at the finish at the NBFD . (Ron Calhoun has his eye on the 80+ division)-- Awards approximately at 10:00 A.M. All for only $5.... NB July Jubilee Parade to follow at 1:00 P.M.
