One week from today is the next ERPD CPL Pistol Safety Course. We still have a few seats left! Civilian - Concealed Pistol License (CPL) Class Information: Eaton Rapids Police Department will be hosting a CPL - Basic Pistol Safety course on Saturday, September 20th and a second class on Saturday, October 11th. We do have more dates reserved, pending the amount of interest. Location: Classroom portion will be at ERPD from 9:00am to 2:00pm. Range time will be from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at the Eaton Rapids Conservation Club on Freeman at Five Point Hwy. Equipment Needed: Bring eye portection, ear protection and at least 50 rounds of ammunition, a handgun, pen, clothing for the weather and your Michigan Operators license. Cost: $100.00 Registration: To register please contact ERPD Administrative Assistant Kim Eddy at 517-663-8118, ext 8136, Monday-Friday 8-5 p.m. or by email at keddy@cityofeatonrapids. In order to reserve a seat, a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is required. The remaining $50.00 will be paid upon class registration on the date of the class. Please make any checks payable to the Eaton Rapids Police Department. We are only taking 12 for each class and seats will go fast. Once the class is full, we will then begin a waiting list.
