One whole tractor trailer load of donated clothing just left our warehouse. Thats 43,000 lbs of clothes and shoes (21.5 tons). If an average sized elephant weighs 3 to 4 tons, then we shipped approximately 6 elephants worth of clothing. It will be sorted and reused in the US and around the world. Thank you to everyone who donated clothing. All proceeds benefit Mennonite Central Committee, who strives to make sure everyone has peaceful living environments, food, clean water, access to education, good health, and help if faced with natural or man-made disasters.
