One winter I stayed wit my Aunt to help watch my little cousin in Kasigluk close by the new school, I cant remember what its called. But we stayed in a small old building that had no running water, no bath tub & shower, really old carpets, drain that goes out the pipe & onto the ground. When I walked in the small house the first time it felt a little strange... It being a new place to me I only thought of good things. My first night in my room, it had no door. I started hearing tapping from outside that was near my head when I lay down. Freaked out & went sleep in the living room. It would happen idk how many nights when I was there. I got tired of it & asked the principal for ax to chop the branches near my room because my Aunt said maybe its the branches. After I went to the shop & got hand saw, didnt find ax. I went to the house by my room & grabbed the closest bushes & tried to let them hit my wall to my room. They never reach, not even close! Made my stomach turn but I sawed most of the branches down. Would be like someone was watching me while I was trying to sleep. I didnt like the house we stayed in in KUK. If I remember right I think they said it used to be a pool hall or a place to hang out before it became teacher house. There was one night I slept in the living room because I didnt feel safe in my room,lol. It was windy, snow blowing. In the porch I was just about to finally sleep & I started hearing like old man walking with slippers/shoes dragging his feet. My heart started racing, I started praying asking them to let them leave me alone. The noise wouldnt go away so I woke up my Aunt & after that it got quiet in the porch. Made me so annoyed & mad. I was wondering why me? My Aunt or little cousin never talk about allunguking(sp) in the house except me. Another night in the same house I was alone cleaning my room & I heard a loud bang like something heavy fell down. I went to check where the noise came from & the 2-5gal water jug fell down & was spilling all over the floor. I got so scared almost ran out the door to the school with no shoes & socks. But I stopped myself. Since its winter & the house dont have good heating system, I quickly wiped most of the water. Shaking mostly because I know it was on the shelf that was near the bathroom not in the kitchen & I think it was moved from the shelf to the kitchen & fell over. Got all my stuff ready and left for the school to wash. The priest ended up blessing the house not too long later but it would still feel weird in that house. I was kinda mad too because my Aunt & I would be the ones packing our water. Christmas break was coming & I told my Aunt I dont want to go back & stay in the house. My cousin went over after christmas break & she didnt like the feeling of the house too.
