One wonders why everytime the Zambia National Team has a freekick Rainford Kalaba steps up to take it. For one Kalaba has never scored a freekick for the National Team before in over 70 games. Yet when their is a freekick he steps up and takes it over proven freekick takers like Rodrick Kabwe. The technical bench should look into this. Infact the heirachy of Freekick takers should be 1. Evans Kangwa 2. Rodrick Kabwe 3. Nathan Sinkala and 4. Rainford Kalaba. If any of these 3 players are on the pitch then they should take the freekicks except for Nathan because he may be needed in defence. Zambia being a skilffull side gets lots of free kicks around the box, but think about it, since Kalaba began playing for the National team he has yet to score a freekick and that being more than 70 games he has gotten probably 70 freekick Chances and no goal, and at the Afcon we could potentially have 9 or more freekick chances, and what do you think will happen when Kalaba takes them? Chances are he will miss! Kalaba is Zambias most talented player but he shouldnt use seniority to take freekicks, let the players who are better take those freekicks.
