One would often find find this person shuffling around,scavenging discreetly in every street corner of my Sector(18),his clothes ragged and tattered,with two big potlis on his back.His outfit consisting of different pieces of cloth that had been sewn together. One would always see two or three stray dogs lagging behind him as he shares whatever little scraps he has with them.His home is wherever he finds an empty corner.Many a times school kids could be seen taunting him and even throwing whatever they have in their hands at him as if he is a dumping yard. The man could be seen simply ignoring all these chaos and walking away from the stalking mob to safety in shame. His head bent and eyes twinkling, sometimes caressing those long dusty beards. The shoes are no different, muddy and held together by pieces of twines........ many a times,there rose an anxiety in me to go to this man and share his butty of untold emotions lying beneath those tired eyes. But could not, since I have been grown alike those taunting kids(mob), a fear psychosis for the mentally ill. Still in despair as to how these people left to destiny. But for me this man is an unsung Hero. He cleans those garbage that civilised persons like us throw on the street corners and roads.
