One year ago, had a new friend tell me there was no God. He never believed in one and never would. No matter what I said there was no changing his mind, he said he was too intelligent for that and told me so was I. I just starting praying. We grew in fellowship and friendship over the next several months. No more discussions about religion he said, I just continued praying. These past few months, he picked up a discipleship training book off my desk one day, then a Homelife, and began asking questions. In the past few weeks he has given a donation for the mission trip, come to the conclusion that only God could have created the earth, and today asked me if I would pray for him. Once again, I am amazed in the power of prayer, and how a man who for 69 years argued no God existed, now is seeking Him! God is so good!
