One year ago, my dream came true as I married the love of my life, Jeff Jacobsen. The weather was gorgeous, the decorations and venue were picture perfect, our loved ones were there to support us, and my dad beat his prognosis and was able to walk me down the aisle. While everything went exactly as planned, the day was bittersweet as Jeff and I knew our first year of marriage would be difficult. Yet we were excited to began our lives as husband and wife. To be honest, I dont think either of us were prepared for the challenges our first year of marriage would bring. While this year was difficult, I wouldnt change any part of it. Every adversity in life makes a person stronger. Jeff and I have grown closer and appreciate our relationship more than we did a year ago. We are more in love now than ever, and are excited for our future. As we celebrate our one year anniversary, we really want to thank our family and friends for the constant love and support.
