One year ago today God called my mother, AKA, Grandmother, Momma Hattie, Ms. Hattie, Mother Mobley, Hurricane Hattie :) and a few other terms of endearment, from labor to reward!! She put her time in!!! Im sure some of my family members as well as friends are hurtling and struggling to get through today!!! Just remember that she is gone from her labor and is present with the Lord!!! I wouldnt wish her back to the mess going on this world today for anything!!! She prepared for Heaven during the 91+ years of dress rehearsal (this world was only a stage). Yet, the many beautiful memories that we shared keeps her so alive in my heart causing me to cry, but theyre tears of joy!!!!!! She also gave us tall he necessay tools,guidance, teaching, and inspiration to make it!!! She taught us to love, trust and obey God, to love one another & neighbors and to walk upright (living this life in order to live again). Were going to do just that and well be fine!!!! She was the epitome of kindness and strength! Even during her transition to eternity when nurses would ask her was she hurting or did she need anything for pain (and she was in her right mind) she would reply firmly, NO!. However, on Thursday, two days prior to God closing her eyes, she whispered to me Phew! Im tired! It crushed me!!!! Yet, I replied to her, Its okay, get you some rest!!! God said you can turn in your blue and red cape with the great big S (for Super Everything) because the angels were waiting to come fly her away, and God was waiting to exchange that cape for a robe of pure white!!!! Dont cry too long family, Joy cometh in the morning!!! Thank you Jesus for the life, love and the legacy!! SIP My angel!!
