One year ago today I drove out with Ann other volunteer in the snow to collect a cat an 11 year old girl asked us to save from her father because she was pregnant again and he was going to shoot her in the head. We went to the vet where we pulled a sun dried plastic collar from her throat and got little hope her babies would live. Five days later she delivered and we watched as each undeveloped baby seizured and died. But Meez would never leave me and she has touched my life and so many others. I could not be more proud of my baby girl. Happy Birthday Meezer!
