One year ago today I got terrible news....I had breast cancer. I was so overwhelmed with so many feelings and emotions.....but then then something wonderful happened....I survived. I cannot express how grateful I am for the support I got from family...friends...and .....strangers. It continues to amaze me how wonderful people are and what a wonderful life I have. I was lucky.....and because of what happened I live life differently now. The smallest of things mean the most to me....I am so fortunate for the people who are in my life. My husband....for those of you that know him know he is a man of few words....has showed me such love and support...I cannot imagine a second of this past year without him. Ive said many times this past year that for shitty news it was the best shitty news I could have gotten....because I am now cancer-free and a stronger person because of it. For everyone still fighting the fight....stay strong...and make every moment count. Thanks to everyone for your kind words...gifts...prayers....and laughs...it means more than youll ever know.
